This was the film of the recordings for the live LP 'Rank', released a few years later (after The Smiths had disbanded).

Morrissey is out of control. I would have died to be at this gig.

Loving the colour on this grainy film from the El Dorado in Paris in 1984. It's like it's been Instagrammed, 27 years before Instagram. Twenty-seven years . . .

Also great to see Morrissey throwing down some phenomenal moves here. He even tempts Johnny Marr into a little jig a few times (towards the end).

Utterly brilliant.
